Scew Atkins, I love bread!

Glorious bread. Mmmmmm. I can't live without it.

Dumped the Atkins after about a month. I'd only lost about 8 pounds.

Atkins: Day 1

My wife and I are starting the Atkins diet today. My wife wants to loose some weight she put on during her pregnancy. I want to help her out and loose a little weight also. Its very hard for her to be on a diet when I'm there eating anything I want. Atkins says no caffeine during the induction phase so I have a massive Diet Coke habit to break also. I've been tapering off of the Diet Coke for a few days though so maybe that will help a little.

We are on the induction phase now. That means no more then 20 grams of carbs per day. We'll be eating a lot of meat and eggs plus some cheese, salad and a few other veggies.

My starting weight is 220.5 pounds. I'm trying to lose 25 to 30 pounds. I'm also planning on exercising and working out. I really want to have more energy so I can feel better and be able to keep up with my ever energetic baby girl.

Torn Between Two Games

I've been playing some Star Wars: Galxies lately. Mainly just harvesting resources. Preparing to start up my architect business again and get into ship building. My problem is that I'm torn. World of Warcraft is supposed to be just around the corner. Blizzard hasn't announced any release date yet though so there is no defenite on while I'll be able to play WoW. If I want to get into SW:G JTL I'll really have to activate my second account because my crafter is on that account and I'll have to by the expansion for both. So there's 75 bucks. I know as soon as I do that WoW is going to come out and I'll spend another 50 bucks on it and never play SWG again.

So, I guess I'll just wait for WoW.

On Tuesday 21 September 2004 at 6.30pm The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy returns to Radio 4 for a brand new series.

I've never listened to the original radio series but I love the books. The original cast (the five of them still living) has been brought back to do another series and you can listen to it live on the internet!
